Laem Chabang International Terminal Co.,Ltd.(LCIT) received the award of the AIDS and TB – response Standard Organization Certification ASO-T Thailand Platinum (The best award). Mr. Weerawat Sinbamrung, Human Resource & Administration Manager, on behalf of LCIT received the award, and this program also encourages to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

On 2nd October, 2009 Dr.Chaiyavet Nuchprayoon, Professional Consultant and Deputy Director of the Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital, graciously presided over the AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB) - response Standard Organization – a quality workplace standard program – to present 50 workplaces the best HIV/AIDS and TB Management in the Workplace (the Eastern provincial of Thailand) at the Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital in the provincial of Chonburi.

ASO-Thailand award Background

The ASO-Thailand award presentation ceremony was jointly organized by the Thailand Business Coalition on AIDS (TBCA), Ministry of Labour’s Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, and the Ministry of Public Health.

The ASO concept has been created by TBCA – a non-profit organization working on HIV/AIDS prevention and management program in the workplace since 1993. The award has been officially launched in 1994 to promote businesses with best practice, policy development and good knowledge provision program on HIV/AIDS management.
